The story of the perfect bookcase

English below
English
The perfect bookcase for our family house, I just didn't know how it looked like. Of course it wasn't the simple Ikea Ivar, perfect for dorms perhaps, but not here. I kept looking at pictures of fancy design bookcases. Beautiful ones. Expensive too. And still, when I pictured one standing in between the weird corner of our red couch and the turquoise Jacobsen Egg chair, facing my grandmothers old desk, I just wasn't sure. In the end, it hit me. Three eye-catchers in one small part of the living room is more than enough. The only thing that would look nice there, is something that doesn't draw your eyes to it. Like a white Ikea Billy case.
But hey, that's so boring, isn't it? It would suit a dorm well. Nothing wrong with dorms, I just lived there a little too long. So. When Zilverblauw launched their wallpaper line it hit me. A wallpapered Billy, that was what we needed. And then, of course, I wanted it immediately. So we bought the Billy's, ordered the paper, figured out what the best way was to attach the paper to the Billy's, spent some evenings wallpapering. And then, four years after we moved into this house, we had the perfect bookcase. And I am so happy with it!
